Charles Keeton was named warden at Central Arizonia Detention Center in November 2008. Most recently he served as warden at CCA's Dawson State Jail since December 2003. Keeton served as warden of the Dawson State Jail with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice since 2000. He has also served as warden II, senior warden I and senior warden II with the TDCJ. Prior to working with the TDCJ, Keeton served six years with the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler.
