Warden: Barbara Wagner
Barbara Wagner was named warden at CCA's California City Correctional Center in August 2009. She previously served as the warden at CCA's Camino Nuevo Correctional Center and San Diego Correctional Facility. Wagner joined the company following a 30-year career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Her service with the BOP included 15 years at the warden or associate warden level, as well as regional and local roles.

Visitation Rules:
A visit may not be authorized or may be terminated if at any time there appears to be a threat to the security of this facility. All visitors are subject to search and inspection of purses, briefcases, packages, etc. When a visitor refuses a search or an inspection of any item with them, a visit will not be permitted. All visitors will be required to provide identification and complete all registration procedures prior to being authorized for entrance into the visiting area. Visitors will be escorted to the visiting room by a staff member and will be escorted from the visiting room to the front lobby area at the end of the visit. Physical contact during the visit is limited to an embrace and a short kiss upon arrival and at the conclusion of the visit. Additional physical contact during the visit will result in termination of the visit and may jeopardize future visiting privileges. Visitors may not give any item or money to an inmate. Minors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is a parent or legal guardian. No purses, wallets, or handbags will be authorized to be brought into the visiting room. Once a visitor leaves the visiting room, the visit will be terminated for that day. Visitors are not authorized to visit with another inmate and his family in the visiting room. The visiting room officer will designate the seating area for the visit.
The following items will be authorized in the visiting room for an infant's care: A see-through diaper bag, six (6) disposable diapers, a small container of baby wipes, two (2) clear bottles of pre-mixed formula or empty bottles, three (3) jars of unopened baby food, one (1) sippy cup, a plastic serving spoon, one (1) change of infants clothing, infant blanket and a pacifier.
Acceptable forms of ID include a valid U.S. ID or driver's license or U.S.A B1/B2 Visa/BCC with CBP-I-94A. Work permits are NOT acceptable
Visitors who have implants or prosthetic devices must bring a statement fom their physician detailing the implant or device and its specific location in the body. A medical Dr.'s note is required for canes, wheelchairs, hip/knee replacements, etc.
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SEARCHED PRIOR TO ADMITTANCE INTO VISITING ROOM No blue shirts or blouses, no white T-shirts, no baggy clothing. $40 maximum per person may be brought in for vending machines.
Dress code for male visitors: No jogging shorts, No hip huggers, No cut-off shorts, No shorts shorter than mid-thigh, Shirts will be worn at all times, No muscle shirts, No bare midriff shirts, No sleeveless shirts, No tank tops, No military clothing, Shoes shall be worn at all times, No shower shoes, No slippers, No hats.
Dress code for female visitors: No jogging shorts, no hip huggers, no cut-off shorts, no skirt or dresses with slits which extend beyond mid-thigh when seated, no sheer or see-through clothing, no under-wire bras – undergarments will be worn at all times (but not visible), top of clothing shall be no lower than undergarments in front or back, shorts/skirts/dresses should be at least 2 inches or more below the knee, no bare midriffs, no strapless tops, no tube tops, no tank tops, no halter tops, no body suits, no swim suits, no spandex, no military clothing, shoes shall be worn at all times, no shower shoes, no slippers, no hats.
