Gadsden Correctional Facility's K-9 Program Sees the Spotlight

CCA's Gadsden Correctional Facility hosted a group of reporters from the Associated Press in December 2008. The reporters interviewed inmates about the facility's successful K-9 program with dogs serving in high security capacities, most recently at the 2009 presidential inauguration. Inmates raise and train dogs that will eventually assist sheriffs’ offices, the Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security with security procedures.
