CCA Offers A Glimpse "Inside CCA" with New Online News Site

Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), the nation’s leading provider of corrections management services to local, state and federal government, has launched its first-ever online magazine, InsideCCA. CCA’s new virtual publication provides timely news about an established company and sometimes misunderstood industry to audiences both familiar and new. The Web site, accessible to the public, went live in late January.

“We anticipate that our nearly 17,000 correctional professionals, residents and leaders in partnering CCA communities, as well as lawmakers, academicians, researchers and media representatives from across the country will be counted among InsideCCA’s dynamic audience,” said Louise Grant, CCA vice president of Marketing and Communications. “We are providing consistently updated, insightful information about correctional careers, offender programming, correctional best practices and more.”

Stories about recognized employees, accomplishments at the company’s more than 60 CCA facilities and more are prominent fixtures of the site. InsideCCA also features established features from CCA’s existing publications – Correct Perspectives, the bimonthly employee publication, and CCA Source, published three times a year for legislators, decision makers and other stakeholders – as well as a variety of employee blogs with reader-enabled comments, online polls, facility videos and other special features.

“We are promoting information sharing, collaboration and user participation,” Grant said. “Fundamentally, we are meeting the demands of the Internet users of today, while providing them with an insider’s glimpse into a company that strives to be the best full-service adult corrections system of tomorrow.”
